John Burns

John Burns has been licensed since December 1979. He graduated from Cal State Long Beach. John worked in Commercial Real Estate until the early 1990s. In 1993, John started two software companies, Computerized Shipping Systems, Inc. and E-Commerce Logistics, Inc.. Both companies were sold in 2000 to Kewill, PLC, a public company traded on the London Stock Exchange. John stayed with Kewill until 2003, at which time John got back into Commercial Real Estate. John started McKenna & James Commercial Real Estate. In August 2008, John started Your Home Real Estate and will focus more on residential sales and staying close to home.

John has a wife and two kids (Nikki, McKenna, & Jimmy O'). The family resides in Ladera Ranch. John has been an an active resident within Ladera Ranch. John started Ladera Ranch AYSO, Ladera Ranch Poker Club, and Ladera Ranch Futbol Club. John was also a founding member of the LARCs Advisory Counsel and the Ladera Ranch Sports Committee. John coaches and referees and is active with his kids in numerous sports.
